The Art Cubby
Frances (Mack) Maedel was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania, earning a B.A. degree in fine art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She married and taught public school art in Pennsylvania and Monroe as well as adult and children's art classes in her own studio.
Currently, Fran is an active member of the Monroe Art League, the Bedford Art Club, the Toledo artists' Club, the Toledo Women's Art League and the Northwest Ohio Watercolor Society. She has received several awards in juried art shows.
She currently maintains her own private studio and gallery.
